by Firefox user 13545587, 5 years agoThe idea is nice, but lately I had to switch everything to "manual skip" because the voting system apparently somewhat "works" on popular videos only.
The amount of ppl adding segments seemingly at random/labeling them incorrectly seems to increase lately (I had 0 problems ~1 year ago).
I don't know if they are just idiots with the urge to do something, or are (tinfoil) actively trying to discredit the addon, and I don't care tbh.
As smn said: "If I downvote an inaccurate segment, please make it NOT show up ever again". That's what I'm looking for in any upcoming alternative.

posted 5 years agoAre you sure there isn't some other issue causing this? I have been noticing a lot less random segments in recent months.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Lolidoki, 2 days agoI love sponsor block and it works great on my pc but I am having issues with my mobile android version. It's highlighting the sponsored sections but isn't automatically skipping them despite me setting it to auto skip in the settings. I'm double checking to make sure all my settings are identical on desktop and android and just reinstalled the extension on android but it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. I still wanted to give you 5 stars because of how well it works on desktop. Maybe I'm doing so wrong on android idk, I'm using the basic Firefox app so idk what the issue is. I was hoping maybe you could suggest something to help me get it working on android like it does on desktop? Thanks and you rock!
