by Firefox user 18857006, 2 years agopaying customer here. I constantly have to re-sign in again and again, this happens every few days. no other extensions active.
the worst is that sometimes I don't realize i'm not connected. other times i have to restart the browser to let me connect to the internet.
used a competitor before, for a year, none of these problems.

posted 2 years agoSorry to hear that. Could you describe the issues further? Are you getting automatically logged out of the extension? What are the specific steps you're taking that lead to the behavior? Are you receiving any error messages?
Furthermore, what version of your browser and the Proton VPN extension do you currently have installed? Are you using any other extensions for privacy/security purposes? Please contact us at protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can assist you further.

However, they need to include this in the description: unless you have the paid plan, you cannot choose what country you want (even from the 10 free countries offered in the plan). The only option on the free plan is Quick Connect, which auto-connects you.

- Rated 1 out of 5by AJ, 3 days agoUp until recently, Proton VPN has been a GREAT option for me. It was the only free VPN I trusted and used and it worked great. However as of yesterday it stopped working. I've tried to uninstall it but it actually won't let me, and if I try to click on the icon/widget it is just a neverending spinning circle. Also, I keep getting a popup that says "Your networks seems to be blocking Proton. The extension can't bypass this. Try the desktop app instead"
This is very frustrating to especially since the mobile version keeps workings fine for now. I originally thought it might be a problem on my end, but apparently this has been an issue for many other people. Dropping my review so hopefully others know they aren't alone - Rated 1 out of 5by magivmike, 5 days agoit never loads anything and just displays a window with a spinning circle on it, and the circle keeps spinning till I crash out and delete the extension

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 20088169, 8 days agoQuite good, works where Firefox built-in VPN makes some websites jam,open-source, but I would really appreciate it if i can choose the country server I want for a free account instead of having to wait to change.
