by Firefox user 18002534, 3 years agoWas really looking forward to using this as my first password manager. However, when going through websites and updating old vulnerable passwords, Proton Pass did not save or offer to save the newly updated password. So after using the "suggest strong password" from Proton Pass, it never saves it! What's the point then?
Firefox asked immediately to save these after updating but Proton did not, making it the inferior product at the time of this review. Extremely disappointed and irritated. And yes "Prompt for auto-save" is turned on in the settings.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Davide, 5 days agoIt's okay, but also has a lot of issues:
- the extension does not support security keys
- the extension does not connect to the desktop app. So you have to use a short PIN and data is not available when you have no internet (example: login to your router when internet is offline.)
- the settings for the extension need to be re-configured on every new browser (or profile) you install. Again, and again, and again, you get the same stupid wizzard, because all prior configured settings were forgotten.)Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by meet_horizon, 6 days agoAwesome, the TOTP auto pop up, passkey setup, mobile integration are awesome. None of the features are paywall blocked as well. On unlimited, the hide-my-email has been a life-saving feature!!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18461001, 7 days agoThis password manager from Proton is the easiest, most intuitive, user-friendly PM I've found. I've used several in the past, both paid and free. None compare with Proton. It's so user friendly that I'm even going to switch my husband over to it from LastPass (wink!).
