Rollwarden by Rollwarden
Automates buff dice on your D&D Beyond sheet — Bless, Smites, Haste and hundreds more — added to D&D Beyond's own roller, so the number is right first time. Optionally pushes rolls to your Discord, Roll20 or Foundry table. No account, no server.

About this extension
Rollwarden automates the dice bookkeeping on your D&D Beyond character sheet.
Toggle the spells and features that are currently active — Bless, Divine Favor, Hunter's Mark, the Smites, Spirit Shroud, Haste, Sneak Attack, Rage, Crimson Rite and hundreds more — and Rollwarden adds the right dice or flat bonus to the right roll: attack, damage, save, ability check or initiative. The dice go into D&D Beyond's OWN roller, so they animate with your 3D dice and read correctly in the Game Log. There is no second roll to reconcile and no popup to do maths against.
It handles the parts people forget. Bonus dice double on a critical hit. A modifier restricted to one skill only fires on that skill. Advantage is forced where the rules force it. The 2024 Exhaustion penalty is applied to every roll. Sacred Weapon reads your live Charisma. Where the rules changed between editions — Great Weapon Master, Great Weapon Fighting, Charger — one tile carries both versions and you pick.
WHAT ELSE IS IN IT
• Custom modifier builder — anything not in the catalogue, built without code: dice or flat, per roll type, level-scaling brackets, uses-per-rest pips, live preview. Or import any spell from your own D&D Beyond library in two clicks.
• Companion and summon tracking — scaling stat blocks, HP, and rolls posted under the companion's own name.
• Concentration, death saves, exhaustion and Arcane Ward tracked on the sheet.
• Roll statistics — every roll remembered locally, so you can finally see whether the dice really do hate you, plus a shareable Character Wrapped.
• Optional roll pushing to your table: a Discord channel, a Roll20 game, or a Foundry VTT world.
PRIVACY — THE SHORT VERSION
There is no Rollwarden server. Nothing is sent to the developer: no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no usage counts. The add-on declares data_collection_permissions "none" and means it.
Your settings and custom modifiers live in your own browser storage and follow you through your own Firefox Sync. The roll history is local.
The only outbound traffic the add-on ever makes on your behalf is to places you connected yourself:
• Your own Discord webhook, if you paste one in. Off by default.
• Your own Roll20 game, after you accept a connect prompt. Off by default.
• Your own Foundry VTT world, at whatever address you host it, after you approve that one address. Off by default.
Each is a roll you just made, going to a table you chose. Disconnecting stops it immediately.
ABOUT THE PERMISSIONS
Rollwarden asks for less than it looks like. It reads D&D Beyond pages because that is where it works. It declares roll20.net and discord.com only for the optional pushing above.
Foundry is self-hosted, so there is no fixed address to declare — a table might be at localhost, a home server, or a Forge subdomain. Rather than ask for broad access up front, the add-on declares an optional wildcard that is never granted by itself and shows no install-time warning, and then requests exactly ONE concrete address when you click Connect on your own Foundry tab. That grant covers that game and nothing else, appears in Firefox's own site-access controls, and can be revoked there or by the add-on's factory reset.
All executable code ships in the package. There is no remote code, no eval, no dynamic import, and the JavaScript is unminified exactly as authored.
WHAT IT IS NOT
Rollwarden has no dice roller of its own — you always click D&D Beyond's dice. It does not modify your character, write to your sheet, or need a D&D Beyond subscription. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by D&D Beyond, Wizards of the Coast, Roll20 or Foundry Gaming.
