Immerly processes webpage text, readable PDF text, and supported caption/audio segments only to provide translation and captioning requested by the user. Processing occurs on the device when possible. Content that requires server processing is used only while handling the request; original text, translation results, visited page URLs, and original video audio are not retained on Immerly servers or used for advertising, sale, or model training.

If the user signs in, Immerly processes the name, email address, and profile image supplied by the identity provider for authentication and account management. The extension stores settings, an anonymous installation identifier, translation/caption caches, and optional downloaded translation data on the device. Free translation results are retained on-device for 30 days, Pro results for 180 days, and generated captions for 30 days; users can delete them in extension settings.

Operational analytics contain coarse feature events and technical status only. They do not contain page URLs, page titles, source text, translated text, selectors, or audio. Account and billing records are retained as described in the public policy. Contact: hello@immerly.app
