How to test the extension:
1. Open any website containing an input or search field (e.g., https://www.google.com or https://www.wikipedia.org).
2. Click inside any text box or search bar.
3. Type phonetic Singlish words to observe real-time suggestions and replacement:
   - Type "amma" and press Space -> Converts to "අම්මා "
     - Type "kohomada" and press Space -> Converts to "කොහොමද "
       - Type "lanka" and press Space -> Converts to "ලංකා "
         - Type "oyata" and press "." (period) -> Converts to "ඔයාට."
       4. Press "Alt + Space" at any time to toggle Singlish typing ON/OFF (an on-screen toast and the toolbar icon badge update between "සි" and "EN").
5. Click the extension toolbar icon (purple "සි") to:
    - Switch Output Format between "Sinhala Unicode" and "FM Abhaya (Legacy)" mode.
    - Switch Theme between "Dark Theme" and "Light Theme".

 Privacy &amp; Permissions:
 - This extension operates 100% client-side in pure JavaScript.
 - It does not collect, log, track, or transmit any user data or keystrokes (declared as data_collection_permissions: ["none"]).
- No external network requests or remote scripts are executed.
